Eligibility

  • Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
  • Annual family income: Must not exceed ₹2,50,000 per annum (non-salaried) or ₹4,00,000 per annum (salaried)
  • Age: Must not exceed 30 years at the time of application
  • Academic performance: Minimum 55–70% in previous qualifying exam for boys and 50–65% for girls (varies by course level and state). Relaxation for physically challenged, widows, and wards of ex-servicemen
  • Course level: Must be enrolled in Class 11, 12, ITI, Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Engineering, or Medical course at a recognised institution in India
  • Other scholarships: Must not be receiving any other scholarship exceeding ₹1,000 per month from another source

  • Postgraduation (General): ₹1,500/month (boys) or ₹1,800/month (girls)
  • UG Engineering/Medicine: ₹2,000–₹2,500/month (boys) or ₹2,300–₹3,000/month (girls)
  • PG Engineering/Medicine: ₹2,800/month (boys) or ₹3,200/month (girls)
  • Additional hostel allowance: ₹800–₹1,800/month based on course level
