Eligibility
- Occupation: Farmers growing notified crops in notified areas
- Land holding: Both landowner and tenant cultivators eligible
Benefits
- Low premium: 2% for kharif, 1.5% for rabi, 5% for commercial crops
- Cover against drought, flood, pests, and disease
- Claims paid directly to the farmer's bank account
