About this scheme
The IET India Scholarship Award is a merit-based scholarship and recognition program conducted by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) India. It recognizes outstanding undergraduate engineering students based on academics, leadership, innovation, extracurricular activities, and technical aptitude. Applications are free of cost.
Eligibility
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
- Course: Must be enrolled in a full-time B.E./B.Tech program at an AICTE- or UGC-approved institution
- Year of study: Must be in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of engineering
- Academic performance: Must have cleared all regular credit courses in a single attempt with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA (10-point scale) in completed semesters
- Membership: Both IET members and non-members are eligible. IET student members receive additional weightage during evaluation
